Hello everyone!
My name is Andrew and I have a passion for all things finance and accounting-related, particularly the stock market. I became hooked on investing after reading the Ben Graham’s Intelligent Investor and Phil Fisher’s Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits. I held my first stock (Berkshire Hathaway—I still own it!) as a sophomore in college and have never looked back.
After earning my degree in finance and accounting, I moved out to sunny Southern California (the best place to live in the U.S.!). I currently work as an equity research analyst, which just means I perform a lot of financial analysis for clients.
After a few years of working for someone and investing so much time and effort to grow their business, I finally decided to invest in myself. After all, you are your most important investment!
I developed this site in order to document my financial journey and connect with other like-minded people.
My posts will be dedicated to discussing personal finance, the state of the market (stocks, bonds, commodities, etc), life/happiness, and my side hustles.
